TEAS Practice Test, TEAS stands for Test of Essential Academic Skills, which is an admission test for the nursing students to know their potential. ATI developed it, and it is used as a predictor for the student’s success studying in the nursing school. The TEAS test is for testing the skills of the nursing students in the fields of reading, math, science, and English and language usage.
TEAS Practice Test was published by ATI Testing, and the latest edition was launched on 31, August 2016. It consists of 170 and the time limit is 209 minutes. While out of the 170 questions, only 150 questions are marked to be scored.

1> TEAS Reading Test
TEAS Practice Test reading test consists of 48 questions out of which 42 questions are marked and the time limit is 58 minutes. It is for testing the comprehension part of the candidate, which consists of multiple paragraphs and followed up with questions relating to the paragraph.
In this, the candidate may have to identify the authors intent, theme, the idea of the paragraph given, differentiate the facts and draw out meaning out of the passage, vocabulary, and many more things.
2> TEAS Mathematics
In this, the candidate is given 51 minutes to solve 34 questions, and 30 questions are marked. It tests the candidate’s knowledge on the field of algebra, data interpretation, numbers and operations, and measurements.
The candidate would have to convert the decimals, fractions, and percentage, do arithmetic’s, addition and divide fractions and mixed numbers, convert roman and Arabic numerals, solve graphs. Estimate solve equations and many more.
3> TEAS Science
This section is believed to be the most challenging section. In this, the candidate gets 54 questions out of which 48 are marked and a time limit of 66 minutes. This assesses a student’s knowledge about scientific reasoning, life science, human body, physical and earth science.
In this, the candidate would have to describe the various functions of the human body (digestive, circulatory, etc.), concepts such as general anatomy and physiology, interpret the system of nature, DNA, RNA, and many more basic things.
4> TEAS English And Language Usage
This section consists of 34 questions out of which 30 are marked, and the candidate is given 34 minutes. This section covers and tests the grammar, sentence, punctuations, spelling, and vocabulary of the candidate.
In the candidate would have to deal with subject-verb agreement, sentence making, punctuations, parts of speech, tenses and verbs, passive and active voice, correction of spellings, and many more.
